Weekend Review: Gastronomical Week

Loewy, Kuningan- Jakarta. Melted triple choco + apple crumble martini. 9PM.

Waraku, Plaza Indonesia- Jakarta. Tori Karage ramen + ocha. 8PM.

Taipan- WTC Mangga Dua, Jakarta. Melon something sago + chinese tea. 2PM.

They say good food overcome weary heart. I say good friends overcome troubled mind. It has been a gastronomical week; from Pepenero to Taipan. My tummy thanked thee. How was my week? Well, a friend of mine took a wild guess on my story, and now I regretted that I've shared all those information to her. A single woman in her mid 30s usually thinks about nothing but having a love life. She would have no more rooms for friendship. Will I be one of those women in two years? I surely hope not. Marriage is in God's hand, and if He thinks I would be more productive as a single then I will accept. Finding an image for a status on paper is not too difficult, but finding a compatible companion is. A guy said one word, which sounded pretty rude in my ear today, and I lost the mood to say anything else. His words reflect his heart. If he is easily act rude to any friends, he could be more rude to his partner. I am still wondering how he could become like that. He becomes less and less attractive, though. Meanwhile, a friend of mine came to Jakarta to attend some party (too bad we only met once). I think she has more important agenda with more important people. Hopefully her hangover gets better tomorrow. How was your weekend, all?

Weekend Review: Ended with One Fine Day

So much for a long holiday...

I had to work on Saturday. Not for 2-3 hours, but for a half day! I felt useless and outside the team. I was glad that I had a nice dinner @ Komala on Friday nite... Continued on Saturday nite, when we stopped by at Warung Pasta to have a veeery late dinner:)

Suddenly, Sunday went in a blink! Woke up early in the morning, helped out with the video, sang with the choir, and then gathered to have our last Christmas celebration in 2008. We'll have a retreat, but I think I'd prefer to celebrate my birthday in a more special way. With puppie.

And then there was today. One fine day, which started a bit bad because of the terrible headache :( After completely waken up, we decided to go for movies. Off to eX. So we bought two tickets, had quick bite at Dunkin' Donuts, and head back to the theatre... watching "Bolt" in 3D mode! We got these glasses, of course with the price of 2 movies in regular theatre (since it's holiday, the price is higher too!). It was great, though. I love the movie!! Currently there are only 2 theaters serving 3D watching experience: eX Plaza Indonesia and Plaza Senayan XXI. Well, after all that excitement, we even decided to watch another movie, "The Journey to the Center of the Earth". Wanna know how it was? Suck. Didn't enjoy it. If you haven't watched it, well, just save your money, man... cuz it's just not worth it. I'm sure there'll be more 3D style movie coming every month. Eventually, all movies maybe made that way. How cool is that, eh? Imagine watching horror movies like "The Ring" in 3D mode (when Sadako came out from TV...hiiii) or "Harry Potter" (playing quidiche) or any other movies. It'll be mind-blowing *copying puppie's term* :)

So we went home. Stopped by the nearest decent pingjal @ menteng. It's gonna be a long day tomorrow. It's weekdays all over again. Tenku for the great times, sweetie pie. Have a good week ahead.
