Well, I always write a weekend review. One of the reason is so I can re-evaluate my attitudes and activities on that week and do better next week ^o^ v
This week has been pretty exhausting but fun. On Thursday I went to UBAYA with my colleague and ask information from AEC office. They gave me brief explanation, and gave me souvenirs at the end of my visit. I think I'll stop by at their exhibition on Sept 4 before taking TOEFL test. Friday nite, after arriving home a bit tired I just spent my night by browsing the internet. I had pack schedule for the next day. Getting up at 7.30, prepare outfits and stuff, took a shower, and then headed to Srijaya building before 10 (thank God I didn't have any trouble parking inside). Arrived early that morning, we found that most of the decorations were not done yet. No band or musical intruments were installed either. Tired of waiting for an hour, I decided to take my friends to Supermal. I was planning to give The Farewell Party Tickets to Dinny. Arrived at Supermal, my friends decided to eat at Food Court and accompanied me waiting my office mates. Not very long, Lisa called me and she arrived at Studio Food Court right after Piku...err, Anton (I like to named friends who I consider unique or close enough). Dinny, along with Jus, Bo, Yendy and Jon, arrived about 15 minutes after that. Fiuuh, finally! I had to take the car back home before 1 pm, so after playing DDR 3rd Mix (lol, of coursee!) I drove my friends to Srijaya and went home to let my sis use the vehicle. No car left at home:( Hhh, I wish I have my own car. Eventhough I'm a bit skeptical whether I can take care of a car or not:p As my friends probably have already know, I'm a bit careless in some ways. And taking care of a car is not so darn easy. If we cannot take care of it, it will not last long enough. For 'car thing', I look up to my friends Danny (Santy's boy friend) and Adhi 'nyot'. They really have quite taste and good knowledge about engine and stuff. So, yeah, when I am ready to buy a car I would definetely ask for their opinion/ suggestions ^-^
Back to Srijaya, me and friends (Decky, Henny, Aida) went karaoke for 2 hours. Gessh, I didn't realized that the room price is double on weekends. So, yeah, we have to pay 88 thousand rupiahs for the medium room *bankrupt mode* We sang "Ekspresi" couple of times, but my sense telling me that we were not gonna performed that night due to the lack of preparation. And yes, I was right. We didn't perform live that nite, but we did got our song played at the end of the show. Well, not that bad after all...
The Farewell party that nite was crazy (enough). Me, Henny and Aida went crazy before that, preparing our outfits and style so that we'll match ^o^ Luv ya, girls! We were becoming 3 stars in "So Close" and it was sooo funny:D I really enjoyed of carrying small-Chinese-made-gun all around... hehehe, for a few seconds, we felt like a real star. I know it was the effect of the Red carpet, lightings, and photographers. What I didn't know is everytime there were guests walked through the Red Carpet, the camera would shoot that guest for 3 minutes or even more. And that shot would come out on the big screen... Darn! I wish I had smiled and posed more gracefully:p I noticed that Henny "Mok" was also fond of the gun, becoz it can be reloaded and shot like a real gun. Thanks to Aida "Shu Qi" for the idea and accessories supply:) The other costumes that I find attractive and fit with the person are The Flinstones family, Erwin "Potter" complete with the unique scar, and Matthew "Ace Ventura". Nice try, guys.
Well, the party went great, eventhough it was too long and too loud (considering there were parents attending, too). But the food was good. Some of them were great! (like the SALAD, 'tahu campur' and beef stew) *drooling mode*
Hehehe... we ate really carefully 'coz we wore white outfit:D Ronald, the ex-McDonalds MC, was hosting the party excellent. He's crazy, creative, fun and polite. One quality guy. The awards were most won by Winnie (3 awards), who were on the newspaper more than once, through her Comic Final Project "Jung Tak Kunjung Pulang". Next was Lia, who dressed up as an FBI that nite and won the Best Script and The Most Favourite Student. She rocks! Cool, calm, confident (yup, just like the ad). Sometimes we are amazed of how she can maintain her confident and self control. Unlike me, who still like act foolish and childish sometimes... Haha, okay, okay, many times... Sometimes I'm just wondering if me and Lia were being compared by an international company... Will the company definetely pick Lia? Or a bit childish and natural foolish acts are still considered as normal? Hhh, I hope I don't have to compete with her in the scholarship event. Her GPA is almost 4! One quality chick:)
On Sunday, things were so chaotic in Sunday School. Meenn! children can be brutal and unbeatable when it comes to GAMES. I guess that's why people say that children world is playing world. It was games day and we had a new student, Jonathan, from Australia. I could definetely say that he will grow up to be a handsome surfer playboy:p But his attitudes were as 'brutal' as the other boys (aaarrgghh!) I even spent 5 minutes trying to kept the tennis balls away from him. I was just worried that one of them would hurted the other children accidentally. As you'd probably know, children just looove throwing stuff not matter what it is. And most of all, THEY LOOVE SCREAMING! Gosh, what's up with that... (And I can laugh myself now if I remember when I scream "please don't screaamm!!" :D I was screaming myself!) Hahaha... such a chaotic day. Such an exhausting morning, consider I had to woke up at 7 after a long nite activity. Oh, yeah, for the record, we were just playing "catch fish and men" and "count your blessing bowling". We didn't play the last game becoz we didn't have time left. For a while, I am relieve that it is still 2 months from now until my next teaching schedule:p
Right after the service, I went to my friend's place. I drove by because I was just curious why she called me on the phone the day before. It turned out that she just wanna have chat with me after a while (since her birthday, as I recall). I miss Santy more, since we never met again after Yuke's birthday. I hope after we are graduated we will not drift apart. For me, and some of my best friends, like "rabbit" and "pegasus", friendship should lasts forever. And eventhough we just meet each other once or twice a year, we will not forget each other and all the memories we had shared. Many...many funny, foolish and embarrassing school years memories:D
If you ask me, I will not trade it with anything...
