So I am back from Kawah Ijen. My stomach feel a bit troubled. I think my digesting problem is coming back... uuggh! I skip teaching today. I cannot teach and suffer a stomach ache at the same time. But I had a great time this weekend. Compared to my last weekend when I lost my handphone on the way to the WTC parking lot. Now I use Sony Ericsson T310 and still a bit awkward using it. I do hope my scholarship application will be accepted, so I didn't loose my mobile phone for nothing:( Well, back to last saturday... me and six of my colleagues went to Ijen mountain and stayed there for 2 nights. The weather, the view, the people were nice... I like it. I enjoy everything about the trip, except the fact that there are no electricity in the area and we have to switched 2 buses and 1 slow crowded minibus... I mean, 30 people actually sit in the small vehicle and it was still added with some furnitures stuff on the way! Fiuuh... glad to arrived there safely...
Since we had traveled for 9 long hour, we decided to stay at Ijen for 2 nights. We rent a quite big room with 3 bed in it, but we were lucky since no other guests were staying there and we can used another room and the "living" room as much as we wanted ^o^ v
The electricity would be turned off every 10 pm, and that made us went to the toilet earlier because it's gonna be sooo dark after that (and what worse was none of my friends brought a flashlight). The temperature was veery cold for some of us, and my friend wore 2 shirts and a jacket and still felt freezing. Well, I am glad I don't suffer a cold or fever after that.
There was only one place to eat there, and the menu were all the same between fried rice with egg, boiled noddle with egg, fried noddle, and rice with tempe and sambal:p Hehehe, we were quite fed up with the food. But hot tea was never boring for all of us, since it made us warm for a while...
First day, we were planning to use all of the three beds, but it was so cold (for the feet especially) that we decided to sleep on one bed instead:D
The second day, we moved the big beds next to each other and slept against one another's feet. We did hiked the mountain and managed to see the Ijen crater and the lake which located in the center of the crater. It was like seeing the view in Marlboro cigarette advertisment, actually:) Though it was exhausting to hiked for 3 hours up and 2 hours down. My colleagues were very unified and cooperative. Usually, at those time the real attitudes and habits would showed up. Hehehe, I realized that I made my friends occupied a few times:p fiuuh, thanks guys! Wouldn't survived without your help^+^
I would like to go to mountain areas again sometimes, with pleasant companies of course:)
Now I am just hoping that my digest problem will recover soon and tomorrow I get to watch movie with my friend. Ouuch, my stomach is in pain again... off i go...
