Hehehe...
This is a story about my friend, Keke. She's my team, where as a copywriter I have to work with Art Director. Well, since we got closer in one team, we usually have lunch together. And since we have to eat everyday, we basically run out of place to eat. Sometimes we even take "lunch thing" as a matter that is hard to decided -lol-
Well, here is the story... Today Keke found something rather unusual in her food. Guess what...guess what... come on. I'll give you 5 secs...
5, 4, 3, 2, 1....
Can you guess? What? A fly?? A stapler? A rock? A disgusting bone?
Hahaha, they are all none compared to what Keke had found!!
She found (not one) two FISH HOOKS inside Patil fish that she was eating.
Can you believe it?!
We were all shocked and pretty amazed how hooks as big as those could ended up there without being pulled out. Ckckck...
We ate in a Palembang restaurant @ Jakarta Utara, by the way. Keke actually loves the place, since the food is great and it has many variations of menu. But remembering what happened today, I doubt it if we'd ever go back to that place again.
When we told the owner about the fish hook, he was just saying sorry and passed by. We were still trying to laughed about it and Keke wanted to take the hooks home (she even captured it using her photo HP) and told the unique experience to her friends without any intention of emphasizing about the restaurant fault. We'd awared that mistakes happen and that it was a unusual thing. But then one of the maid of restaurant came and ask us about the hooks. We told her that we had wrapped them and wanted to take them home. Well, the next minute the owner came again (at least we got his attention!) and ask in a high tone about our intention of taking the fish hooks home. And then he was kinda mad saying that it was no need for us to show one tiny mistake of his restaurant to others (if I think of it again... is it tiny? What if it gets swollen by Keke? -___- ).
We knew he was afraid that we might spread the news to others. But it was not his place to be mad at us. It is their fault, and not ours. And he should apologize nicely, instead of acusing us. If we want, we could even tell about the restaurant to Yayasan Konsumen Indonesia. But we were just laughing at him, asking why he is became upset when we had nothing against him anyhow.
It was weird, don't you think? Well, I like the food (Model) , but I don't think I would come back again... ever...
That is a lesson for all sellers out there. Consumer is King and seller should treat him right.
PS. This is not the first time Keke had bad things with her food... Few days ago, we went to Padang restaurant and she found a big fly floating... swimming in her fish soup. Eukkh.. Poor my friend... Better luck in eating next time.
