The End of My "Ultimate Fitness Experience" :D

Goodbye Celebrity Fitness! After a year of becoming regular member @ La Piazza-MKG, I decided to end my membership and let go all the facilities I used to enjoy when I was there... Mostly I like the sauna and the dressing spot. They've pampered me many many times; when I felt blue, tired (after walkin around in MKG), or need a spirit boost or relaxation. Sports do help me a looot in expressing my tireless... uhm, enthusiasm :D I really can't stand of doing nothing and just sit still the whole week. I also like to keep in shape -am not saying my body is soo unbelievably f***king gorgeous- that is just so I would stay fit in two smallest size available in clothing stores... hahaha... I'm size 6, by the way, which made me wondering how on earth could anyone wear a "4"... ckckck, those twiggy supermodels are really anorexic...

Anyway, here is the review I come up about Celebrity Fitness- The ultimate fitness experience (they claim):

The best classes I've enjoyed so far: 1. YOGA 2. RPM 3. CAPOEIRA 4. HIPHOP
The best instructors: 1. TOTO 2. IDRIS 3. CLAUDIA
The most used devices: 1. Treadmill 2. Bicycle 3. Device for thigh (dunno da name)
The most useful additional facilities: 1. Hair dryer 2. Sauna
The most useless facilities:
1. Shampoo/Soap 2. Shoe locker

For a year there, I've never tried to know anybody, or be known amongst everybody... I just come, do practices, change, take a looong warm shower. Never used the soap there, too (last time I noticed that they're using Biore Mild). So, I'd probably say that the possibility to meet people in the gym is... not that inspiring for me. Hahaha. Yes, some guys did make a pass at me and introduced themselves, but as always... I was hard to please. I never captured any opposite sex figure that was appealing to me! *What a surprise, huh?* The guys were always either too-scary-macho, or trying-too-hard-to-be-masculine types:p Oops, sorry guys...

Hehehe, nooow... what? I have to find an independent yoga class... I really want to stay as yogi... (yogi= a person who practises yoga) :D The reason I stop was mainly coz La Piazza is too far from where I live. I've missed 3 whole months in a year... What a waste, right?
There is a new gym just around the corner, though... I might gonna have a look at it :)

I may have been one of those "macho" types. ;)

I actually enjoy going there, simply cause there aren't many options here in Kelapa Gading. (especially for Bule). Casablanca was nice but not enough equipment.

Never knew there were other bloggers here in KG!

Haha... u aare?

I agree, there aren't many choices of fun sport clubs in KG (especially if u're looking for yoga class like I do). I also enjoyed being in CF, but I need to find a gym that's closer. Oh, did u go to LifeSpa @ Casablanca? You might wanna try Odyseus fitness & spa @ Nikko hotel... it's pretty nice and not crowded ^^ Spa treatment, a swimming pool and whirlpool are available too.
