Friday Morning Conversation

I always ride angkot (21) in the morning to go to ma office. My office is actually juz around the corner, but I prefer riding 21 to walking. I don't like the idea of having my clothes smell dusty in (after I took shower in the morning). But I usually walk my way home in the evening.

Talking about angkot, I often end up in one angkot with a man. This oh-so-chinese-looking man has two children. Boys. He always take them to school (kindergarten) near my place. He looks so caring and make me wonder whether he has a job or working home that make him always relax and available (hey, I'm an observer of human behavior :p). So, as we ride that morning I noticed that one of his boys cried (I even know that his child name is Kevin), and he wiped the kid with a washcloth, and telling him things about not being naughty. The kindergarten group, that's what I call 'em, usually ride together. One of a child's grandma was trying to chat basa-basi with the man. She said that she often see him with his wife somewhere near Cempaka Putih area. The man just smile politely and showing his 'pls leave me alone' expression.

Suddenly one of the kid shouting, "Emang Kevin punya mama?"

And all people in angkot stared. Silence erupted.
. . . . .

And I was so glad I had arrived in front of ma office.
