Weekend Review: DKV nite

Another weekend has passed *phew*. Rencana buat sekedar homestay and relax akhirnya selalu cuma jadi cita-cita...

Saturday
After a "Domino Nite Battle", I had trouble of waking up early. I got up at 09.30 just to realised that I havent wrapped two bridal shower gifts for Tina. Yaiks! I fell asleep, and didn't force myself to wrap those household materials at nite (even the wrapping papers just been bought at midnite:p). So, I quickly grabbed my towel outside my room and prepared clothes to wear. I had to be at Arion by 10.30, coz Brenda was gonna pick me up there. I wrapped those gifts franticaly, run to the bathroom, and get ready. Arrived at Arion, I decided to bring Dunkin Donuts with me. We're not obliged to bring anything, but I just thought it'd be nice to bring something for everybody. Brenda and her mum picked me up, and we went straight to Rempoa.

The bridal shower was nice. I personally don't know Tina that well, but I like both Tina and Fabio. I think they'd be a great couple:) I pray for their everlasting marriage this month. We were playing games, having lunch (with tons of foooood... uuhh, u wanna try 'em all, but your stomach just wouldn't allow it! I even passed the ice cream and cakes...), dancing, and swimming. Too bad I didn't bring my swimsuit with me. Dewi, Helen, Tima, and I decide to play domino (Sis G's DOUBLE 15 set!), but regreted it later coz we found that one game was tooo long... and we often forced to "break other's burden" -lol- We got out from Rempoa at 4.20pm and headed to IES. I promised Mary I'd be there and observed her controlling the slide projector (ended up given full in-charge).

Well, I need to learn more about projector. I did a couple of mistakes:p Andy was helping us and saying, "It's ok" ^^' Pak Jing was laid back but stay alert as usual. I want to help with projector on saturday nite coz Mary said they need more people.

Oh, I saw the posters I designed for BBBS were displayed. Some changes occured. Oh, well...

Dina awaited me to go home together. We had nice dinner and chat for two hours at the restaurant before headed home. Amazing how we rarely meet during working days basis -___-"

Sunday

Rise n shine! Sunday= get up early to go to church. I sang at 10.30 service and joined the Life Group (LG). Micha talked about woship leading, and it was exactly like what we've read in PDL book. Worship leading is not for our benefit, but for God. God never consider any ministries as too menial. The reason why we have to master or practice what we do 'till the best is to make us able to feel the worship time with our heart, without having to worried about our skill. Practice makes perfect. I know; I sing in the bathroom and before my daily devotional. If I don't practice, my just-okay-voice prob would become less-than-ok :p

Anyway, after LG, me and Dina asked Fiona to join us meeting up with our college friends from Surabaya. Fiona's from Pekalongan, and she is cute^^ Hahaha, I like having a positive energy surround me like hers. We went to Ambassador mal to have lunch, and joined with Yudi. Dinny decided not to join coz she had dinner with...ehem, well... a friend from the past. Four of us went to Pondok Indah Mal (PIM) from there.

PIM is always seem unfamiliar to me, especially the 2nd nu building. Hmm, eventhough I have to admit, there are more shopable stores there (well, at least compared with PI). I got a cute purple NEXT cardigan ^___^ *Yay!* Cliff, Hendro, and Inge joined us at n.y.d.c later on and we did a 'lill window shopping before end up (and rooted, literally) at Food Court PIM 2. Me and tete ate Raffel's beef burger *long live cow*, while others ate differently...

The next thing we knew... we chat, we chat, we chat, and we chat...

Almost 10pm. None of us moved yet. Our plates and trays were still in the exact position. The light were started to dimmed off, and when we realised it... all the other chairs were already being fold (I didn't notice it, Cliff did). Maka terpaksalah kita pulang dengan gontai...hehehe...

"Lho, udah nih? Pulang neh?" tantang Yudi.
"TIS wes...TIS..." Hendro ngomporin.
"Sesuk kerjo pek!" jawab Dina dengan mata 6 watt (aslinya emang dah nyipit sih :D)
"Weh, onok Express gak yo?" Hendro celingukan. We crossed the street, all we saw were Blue Bird cars...

Then we saw an enlightment; a yellow lighted object stopped in two red stoppers. Yudi and Hendro brutally crossed the street just to get them. Hoahahaha, my friends are juz unbelievable... Me and Dina stood still on our spot, giggling watching that silly ngebet-for-express action :D I still can laugh remembering it...

So, inside the cab, we were discussing again, felt tired but a bit hesitated to end the nite. The night was still young (dasar LOWO!)...

"Serius iki mulih ta?" Yudi nanya lage. Mentang-mentang freelance dia...
"Olala (cafe), ta?" usul Hendro.
"Haiyaa...serius taaa?" teli akhirnya membuka suara.
"Ga po po, anggep ae iki lembur. Besok masuk telat..." Hendro berusaha menginspirasi:D
Dina makin nyipit tapi ngga protes.

After a while...

"Lek Thamrin ayo weess..." tantangku.
"OK! Thamrin yo?"
Semua setubuh.
"Mas, ke Sarinah Thamrin aja ya..."

Oh, ya, selama ada Hendro, kita pasti ngga akan nyasar. He is a darn good navigator, we often text/call him if I wanna go somewhere unfamiliar ^___^

Singkat kata, since the night was still young, we ended up cangkrux (nongkrong-red.) at Mc Cafe, besides the 24-hour-Mc Donald's restaurant (PS. we saw creative team from multinational agency were brainstorming seriously). Yudi and Hendro bought burger, sundaes and beverages. Chatting about friends' updates, ads, and relationships. We went home at 1.30 am.

It was a great nite, guys...

In our lives, we would always treasure things and stop some time to remember what we've left and missed behind. U guys have been engraved forever in my path of life.
