"Pop singer Madonna has travelled to Malawi in a bid to adopt a second child from the country.
Four-year-old Chifundo "Mercy" James is in the same orphanage that was once home to David Banda, adopted by the singer in 2006. Madonna's decision take a second child has already been criticised by international charities but now a human rights organisation in Malawi is threatening to try and stop the adoption from taking place. (BBC news)"
Hmmm, let's see... She is 50, single/ divorced, already has children of her own, still active in entertainment business (therefore she might travel around the world often), and a bit controversial. But on the other hand, she has already proven capable of taking care of David Banda, her first adopted child from Malawi. He was adopted when he was only one year old, and he has been living standard ever since. So, it's a tough call... A child deserves to have a better life, but the question is will he become a better person amongst all the instability? Richness can support happiness, but it cannot magically sustain it. What do you think?
