A lot of things had happened during last week, and I just have to write it down for my memory lane... How should I start ya? Hmm, okay, let's start from the first day then...
Monday
"A 'Creative Revolution' begins today," said the email. After receiving an SMS the night before, all of the creative team was wearing black top outfits. All of us got a red Revolutionary note, along with one black 'Guevara' hat. Not surprising to see that everybody suddenly posed for lots of pic taking. So, I have a new head now, and I still don't know what to do with which brands. But, like my hunny said, changes are good... We'll see about that.
Tuesday
It's karaoke day! I haven't met my LG friends for like three weeks, and the host was suggesting for us to gather in a karaoke session at T-Rex, Grand Indonesia. So, I met her for dinner first @ Y&Y, and we ended up talking about a lot of things... including her plan to move out of Jakarta soon. The sudden news kinda make me sad. I mean, we've been together as a sharing group for more than 2 years, and if we don't have that anymore means... I have to find another group. Another change, another adjustment. Oh well, c'est la vie... No matter what happen, we must go on. Anyways, the 3-hour-singing was nice (not too many people came as expected, though). T-Rex was quite sophisticated and up-to-date; each room has different layout and ambiance. You can find all the songs you wanna sing... from pop to gospel... pluss... mic standing, a mini drum, and disco ball. The odd thing about the place is only the scoring... Just don't be too proud if you reach 90, or discouraged if you only got 62 *lols*
When I got home at about 1 am, the funeral for MJ was being broadcast LIVE almost on all channels. I log on to Gtalk while watching, and able to chat with my hunny for a while... Soon after watching Stevie Wonder and Magic Johnson, I fell asleep :) Sorry, MJ, your voice was great, but your live is sensational. Millions viewers were crying to see your departure... and they should... they should... Auf Wiedersehen. :)
Wednesday
Indonesian election day. Off work. I didn't vote, though... so basically just spent the day chillin' at home and cooked. Watched "Evangelion 1.01" and "He's Just Not Into You" (starring Aniston, Affleck, Conelly, and Johansen). I imagine the malls must be crowded this day, cuz usually there'd be special appreciation giveaway/ discounts for voters.
Thursday
After one full day off the streets, office, and malls... I kinda feel like eating out and meeting friends. Since the work load is currently low, I managed myself to leave early and met my friend for dinner. She's working at fX, which is located across my office building... We met in busway stop and went to Plaza Indonesia. I had picked up my MNG grey trousers too (they always have overlength size). *happy happy*
