I don't remember how many brands are joining exactly, but I can honestly say that several stores like Magichappens, m.y.e, Saint and Sinner, Cotton Ink, and Happy Go Lucky had definitely grabbed my attention. I will come back tomorrow to check out the dresses!
Personally, these stores kinda inspired me to join and probably open one of my own. Hehehe. Although I'm not exactly a stylish girl, but I know what's in and out in fashion world, and most importantly, what looks good on women. Maybe someday I'll open my shoes shop ya... that way I could design as maaany as designs as I like :)
So, is there any tips for shopping at Brightspot market? Well, actually yes, you better bring enough cash in your pocket, because most of the stores only receive cash and will charge 3% upon credit/ debit card use. Or you can also ask the shopkeeper to keep your shopping bag, while you go to the ATM and withdraw some cash. The good thing about this market is that most of the stores are watched over by the owners (and we personally know some of them) :)
You can find out more about Brightspot market from the website (http://brightspotmarket.com/)or follow them on twitter (http://twitter.com/BrightspotMRKT). I think it's a great event that could tempt more young local designers and artists to show off their talents. Sometimes, all you need is a chance :)
Will I see you there?
