election day

Today is the 2nd election day; 5th of July... time of electing the president and vice president. There are 5 pairs of candidates; i am not really a big fan of any of them... I mean, i was like being faced to a no-choice-condition where i have to choose one which is better than the others which are worst. For my country (which is a Republic) this is the first time people have the opportunity to elect their own future leader (here we have our own term, which is called "nyoblos"). I personally don't think that we are ready, but...now... i just pray that the election will be as fair as it can be, and that everyone would be satisfied with the result, no matter who is chosen. The last thing that my country (or any country) need is demonstrations and chaotic environment. I mean, we are already in a very tight situations, and i don't think if people keep continue forcing their will and ego we can go any further than this. None of us wants to be a citizen of a 3rd world country which owed a bunch of billion dollars. Not me, not i.
My dear country is kinda funny; here u can really sense that there are still a slice of racism and a huge difference between the rich and the poor. The rich could and would become richer, and the poor could and would easily become poorer. And they often blame the situations. Menn... i don't think that any person would ever grow/ develop if he keep on blaming the situations. The situations sometimes do play the role, but many times it is just our will and hard work that really counts. Yet, i don't blame the people... i realized (i think) that it is mostly becoz the native ancestor were under the force of more powerful countries for a long times. Then when they did became independent, they just confused and need a grip. I just hope that the future generation will be better and better everytime... and that I would shine as one of the members of a better generation; a generation that is independent, hard working, intellegent and have fear of God.
