Weekend Review - after the 2nd round of President Election

(while watching "Fear Factor: Family" episode)

It Is An Election, Not A Fight Or A Battle

Ninety percent of the General Election result is reached. Tomorrow this result hoped to be completed. The purple stamp that covered my small finger tip has not entirely erased:( But I think my candidate will not win this time, and for that I am a bit sorry. Coz I know that many people who put their hope in that candidate did not elected. They prefer to stay home, or going out of town, or act loose about it. Sad. Even my sister had only elected once, and for the next rounds she had never in the city to give her voice. Hhh, but anyway... I believe (like any other Reformed people) that it is the providence of God. Any candidate selected would not be selected if God didn't allow them. But, I don't know whether this change would drive us to a better future or to a darker era? I surely hope not the 2nd. So guide us, God...

My weekend was quite fun. I had a friend sleeping over at my (parents') house. It was probably the first since I can't remember how long I had a friend staying over. Aida came early in the morning and showed me some commercials on Kompas that she bought. We played PS2 and had lunch until Cimot arrived before 4 pm. Then we were just driving around The West Areas; Citraland Alam Hijau, Pakuwon Amphitheatre, and ended at Pakuwon Trade Centre (PTC). We ate ice cream and went to PaperClip to check out some stuff. We went back home, and waited Aida dressed up for Lana/Yoyo's wedding reception. I drove her back at Bukit Darmo Golf and back home to switch car with motorcycle. Coz me and Cimot were headed to Petra and we know how the traffic is pretty nasty on weekends. So, we arrived at Petra to watched the concert (we were late, obviously!) and only got to see 4 songs out of 13. But I am glad I got to see the duet of "The Prayer" between vocal teachers, Elsa and Richard. I think they performed better than Joy and Delon from Indonesian Idol :p
Petra choir was excellent as always. We met Henny after the performance and talked for a while. The rest of the nite was, I drove Cimot back to her place and went back home by myself. Aida arrived at my house not long after that. The next day we had breakfast together with my mother and brother (my sister was in Pangandaran, and my dad was in Trawas). I took Aida to ICA and she was quite enjoying the sermon. I then drove her back to her brother's house at Pakis and picked up Vanie at her church beside Sint. Louise high school. We decided to picked up Lisa too after that, and then confused what to do for the rest of the afternoon -lol- :D My car got stuck at her doorway and her father helped me turning my car. I guess I was just not used to it. And having some people shouting directions to me was pretty confusing also:) Hehehe, thanks anyway, guys...
We spent the day by driving around the East area, seeing fancy artistic houses. Last, we ate at KFC Galaxy Mal when my mum sms me that lunch was ready. I enjoy the ride, since I actually like driving car or motorcycle. I hope Lisa and Vanie didn't get queasy because of my driving:p
Looking forward to do it again... Next time on the West Area, guys, I promise ^o^'

Monday. Doing simply nothing. Reading, reading and watching cable. A show called Globe Trekker on Discovery Travel and Adventure channel is looking for a new host. I want to give a shot at it, but it turns out to be available only for some countries. My mom wants me to try to apply a job in Sanur, at a candle manufacturer from Hong Kong, but I am not sure if the job is fun and challenging enough, and if I can get good salary and internet connection for my high cost living in Bali. Well, just wait and see... Right now I am just waiting for 2 new television programs on StarWorld: The "Donald Trump's" Apprentice and "Paris Hilton's" Simple Life. It is almost 2 am right now and I have to teach tomorrow, so... off i go... Hope i can teach well tomorrow :)
