Harga Sebuah Pembelajaran

"Satu kaset ini mahal..," ujar seorang operator suatu hari, kala kami tengah duduk di sebuah studio, berusaha untuk membetulkan satu kesalahan.
Dia menyebutkan suatu angka, dan yang lain mengatakan angka yang lebih besar lagi.
Sonnya menoleh padaku,
"60? juta?" bisiknya
"60 ribu," kataku dengan wajah sok yakin (thinkin' to myself "it can't be that expensive!")
"...jadi kalau yang rol pitanya kecil ini durasinya 30 menit, kalau yang rolnya besar durasinya 5 menit. Yah, mungkin sekitar 60 juta lah..."
Sonnya menoleh lagi dan berbisik setengah memekik,
"60 juta!"
and I was stunned...
(busyeet, satu kaset VHS bisa hampir buat beli 1 mobil")

So basicaly there were many things surprised me along the way. Still are. That's what people say about working world. Totally different than what we've been taught in school years... ^______________^"
So what's the point? Don't go to school? Ha-ha, nooo...what I mean is never be satisfied with your knowledge and skills. Keep learning...and learning...and learning. What you think you know now could possibly means so little if being compared to what you might gonna know someday... Hehe, confusing, huh? I am confused too :p

So I... well, the whole team to be exact , made mistake. My very first mistake (don't congrats me, by the way). We can still questioning how it happened 'till now... coz we really...really couldn't believe how such a stupid little mistake like that could occured... It is as if we watched but we didn't see, we monitoring but not observing, we care about the whole, but neglected details. Detail, my friends, is a very crucial thing for a copywriter to maintain. Keep an eye for. Copywriter could be a quite tiring job, since we have to have a good taste, bright eyes and sensitivity in a high level. Missed one "A" and it is not "BIAR" but "BIR", missed one "U" and it would change "TUANG" into "TANG". I like details. and I think I am suitable for this job. Do I wanna work in other fields then? Well, maybe yes maybe no. If I do wanna change profession, I think my next choice would be a fulltime journalist, reporter, or a designer. I like seeing myself doing many things, but in the end I will choose what is best suited for me. I think being a copywriter is a perfect job for me right now. Thanks for my friends Eileen, who had suggested it over and over. Miss ya! ^o^

This weekend went quite fast for a long weekend, but I can say that I've enjoyed my 3 days holiday well. I've slept overtime, watched several chosen DVDs and did go out with my friends once more. Did not spend too much cash *happy* and did not went clubbing or drinking or something like that either... Hmm, life's good...sometimes. I just need to appreciate and live it more:)

Anyway, I watched several movies and would like to give ratings for all of 'em (1-10):
1. The Pianist------ 9
2. Black Hawk Down-- 8
3. Trainspotting---- 7
4. Meet The Focker-- 7.5
5. Series of Unfortunate Events-- 7.5

I find that I like serious movies, but only if they are sane. I don't like watching insane people doing stupid things which 'cause troubles for themselves. For comedy, I found that I enjoy American jokes better than European or Korea.I can understand black comedy, satire ironic ones, but never really liked them. Somehow I never likes Jim Carrey's or Titus' style either. I'm more into Adam Sandler's or Bill Cosby's style. I enjoy good movies; all genres except horror. But watching colosal movies needed extra attention...since I often slept during the long duration -________-

How about you? You think Lemony Snicket is good? I open to further discussion about it anytime ;) Ooops, have a nice week, guys!

I like European jokes more. They make me think first before getting it. When I do realise the meaning of the joke, it gives me more laugh. :D

Hmm...
have you watched "The Office" on BBC/ Starworld? I'm trying to understand why people could choose it as the best comedy series...

still haven't found the answer :D

hehehe...
Feel it by watching an European movie, then straight after that watch an American movie... you would feel that European is more stiff.
But oh, well, I guess that's why they call it "taste" :)

hm, aku lebih sering ketemu ama american jokes sih, tapi aku juga suka n tertantang ama european jokes, meskipun kadang berat n butuh waktu utk dicerna.
Film komedi Inggris favoriteku: Lock Stock Two Smoking Barrels, mungkin kalo kamu ada waktu ato interested mo liat ntar kita bisa discuss about the jokes :D

Trainspotting? pls dehh... that was such a weird useless movie, no moral stories, no reflection, no ends...

it was just a picture a useless people poisoning themselves until they got into troubles...
