Whole Week Review: Sis' Wedding In Surabaya

Well, I had a teriffic six days, five nights in Surabaya. I got to catched the flight on time, met my family, met new family, met old friends, met clients in Surabaya... Overall, there were so many things I 've done while I was home. But I enjoyed every minutes of it:)

Day 1- Tuesday, 14.06
11.00 Met PH @ Starbucks, see the offline editing.
12.00 Met clients along with PH. Got approval for both TVC.
14.00 Headed to airport bus station.
19.30 Arrived in Surabaya. Got several calls from firends, ate my mother's cooking.

Day 2- Wednesday, 15.06
Got up late. Borrowed car to drove around, went to my former Web office, dropped some Wed Invitations accompanied by Lydia. IN the evening, we met Jos' family. There were Albert and his two parents. While one of his best friend, Bram was coming too...
So, the Dutch met the Chinese. We ever prayed in three languages (+ English), since we were more comfortable doing that. Albert, Jos' brother, is funny. He's 190 cm tall (and still growing), sporty and light. We easily connected to each other.

Day 3- Thursday, 16.06
One day before the Wed. Helped my sis with some groceries (since she was not allowed to go anywhere), went to TP alone, have lunch with my former office mates, borrowed Canon from Lisa. At nite, we had a little party in our house. Both families gathered. Laugh a lot, talk a lot, but not eating a lot. Plenty of food, but just couldn't eat them all.

Day 4- Friday, 17.06. The "H" Day.
Got up before 9, got my lazy self to the salon and had make-up. Arrived at Novotel at 2 pm, went to the Suite with my sis (while Jos family waited at the Apartement). The Holy Matrimony started at 4 pm. I had to walked in front first as the Bridesmaid... Albert was the Best Man. Bram was the Ring Bearer. I cried a little during the matrimony (ruined the make-up). Very touched by their vows. Hmm...
We went to the party at 7 pm. Ate not much (again), and still want to spent sometimes with the new people... so I asked Albert and Bram to go clubbing after the party along with my bro, friends and Lydia+ her boyfriend. So we went to D Club and hang out there until 2 am. Headed home tired but very happy.

Day 5- Saturday, 18.06
Woke up with a new feeling. Strange. Realising that my sis is not there again. I've missed my roomate already! Well, I think it's very normal considering she was the one who used to bathe me, took care of me and played with me since I was a toddler (I am 10 years younger). But I'm happy that she's happy. May God bless their family and be their strength and tower ^o^ I would loove to see their children!
Anyway, I had an appointment with Surabaya client that day. I headed to Basuki Rahmat and had a two-hour-meeting. After that, I went to Supermal with my former colleagues until 8 pm and hopping to Starbuck Tunjungan Plaza until midnite. Six of us were just drinking coffee, talking bla bla bla without topics, and basicly they just wanted to interogated me. Hehehe, turned out I had no good topics either... :p

Last day- Sunday, 19.06
I got an SMS from Jos and my sis that they wanted me to give a letter to Pastor Jeff who blessed their marriage... So I went to ICA and joined the sermon. I gave the letter to the pastor wife and then headed to 'kidnapped' Santy :D I asked her to accompanied me to see my sis' new residence. Well, we had to turned quite far to Laguna Indah, since the main road there (ITS street) was closed due to the accident of one of their student. News said that the college girl was hit by a car and got herself dragged as far as 30 meters... Auuch! My big condolence for her. Yet, the closing of the main road was causing us a lot of trouble. Hiks, luckily we managed to get ourself back home. We visited Lydia for a while before I drove Santy home.

Overall, it was a great week. Now I am just gonna continue my life here in Jakarta. I'm still looking forward to go to Europe sometimes.
Have a nice week, guys!

PS. Have you watched "Batman Begins" ? I wonder if Christian Bale can play it well...
